Our client wanted to have a mannequin that was cheap, lightweight and fully poseable. We thought the best solution would be to eliminate the springs, bolts and other doo-dads that most even remotely poseable mannequins come with. We could also vastly cut down on the weight if the shell was a thin plastic as opposed to a molded fiberglass.

The result is a completely vac-formed mannequin. We produced hundreds for trade shows and retail venues. They worked pretty good. They're cyborg-like. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.
See? A little cyborg-like. That's OK.
